Suvetha Suthan is Eela-Tamil-French, a master’s student in international crises and conflicts. She organizes with Em Inam, an organization that aims to defend the rights of the Tamil people and support their struggle for justice, truth, and self-determination. Em Inam is also a space where Tamil youth in the diaspora can learn, create, and think together about the future of the struggle. She coordinates actions such as the organization of commemorative events, conferences, advocacy, and a series of podcasts dedicated to the experiences of Tamil women. This commitment reinforces her conviction that it is necessary to build transnational solidarity and create autonomous spaces for expression in order to strengthen our collective struggles against systems of oppression that cross borders.
