Sabrina Citra is a researcher whose interests intersects between the subjects of aesthetics, cultural studies and postcolonial history. Her work has been published in Photoworks UK, Jogja Biennale, and Gal-dem. Since her Masters, she has previously coordinated research for Decolonize the Art World and King’s College London. She is currently based in Jakarta and working as a strategist, whilst pursuing research on the “exotic gaze” that has been attached to the making of a Southeast Asian aesthetic. Her next work interlopes across theory, poetry, photography and dance.
