Romain Rampillon is a film director and director of photography in France. Trained in the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Louis Lumière, he has worked as a camera operator on several films directed, among others, by Pierre Schoeller, André Téchiné, or Eric Baudelaire. His first feature as a director of photography was Neptune Frost (2019) by Saul Williams and Anisia Uzeyman. In parallel, he works on hybrid cinematographic works in collaboration with artists, and engages with formats that mix fiction and documentary.
