Reema Nubani

Nubani Reema

Born in 1999 in the occupied Palestinian territories, in the village of Judeida-Almaker in Galilee, Reema Nubani moves between painting, writing, and material exploration, tracing the spaces where presence turns into absence and weight meets fragility. Nubani is drawn to the tension between the tangible and the intangible, permanence and ephemerality, and how these forces shape our sense of home. Concrete, for Nubani, becomes both surface and subject: a material imbued with the histories of construction and confinement. Through it, and through other materials, she explores the instability of home: how it is built, displaced, remembered, and redefined, the traces it leaves behind, and the spaces in between, where stability turns into uncertainty.
