Noémie Aulombard is a PhD student in political science at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, Centre Max Weber. Her work deals with gender issues, the social assignment of bodies, the use of bodies and sexualities in political protest. She is the co-founder of a research laboratory dedicated to Gender Theory and Performances. She also writes the French-language blog A mon geste défendant, in which she documents the disabled experience and tries to develop an alternative discourse about disability, drawing inspiration from feminist and queer theoretical tools.
