Nils Andersson was born in Switzerland in 1933 and is a Swedish citizen. In 1958, he founded La Cité, a publishing house that notably published works denouncing repression in Algeria. In 1967, he was expelled from Switzerland for his editorial and political activities and went on to live in Albania, Sweden, and France. He is the author of Mémoire éclatée, De la décolonisation à la décadence de l’Occident (Fragmented Memory: From Decolonization to the Decline of the West, En Bas, 2016) and Le capitalisme c’est la guerre (Capitalism Means War, Terrasses, 2021).
