Niloufar Tajeri is an architect, researcher, and writer. She has been working with and accompanying several urban activist movements and housing rights activists in Berlin Kreuzberg, and is particularly interested in large-scale housing estates, their ownership models, stigmatization, and the many strategies (by public agencies and private companies) to either exploit or displace tenants. She teaches at the Department of History and Theory of Architecture and City at the TU Braunschweig, and she is working on her Ph.D. thesis at the Bauhaus University Weimar.
