Spagnuolo Nathalie

Natalie Spagnuolo is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Health at York University in Toronto. She is active in local and national disability organizations and serves as a board member of the Council of Canadians with Disabilities/Conseil des Canadiens avec déficiences. Recently, she co-founded Memory, Witness and Hope/Mémoire, témoignages et espoir, a participatory, multi-modal project where English and French-speaking survivors of institutions for people with intellectual disabilities access supports to tell their stories with peers and the community at large. She has served as managing editor for health and disability-related peer review journals and has published articles and book chapters on a range of disability issues.
