Melsida Babayan is a young architect from Armenia who currently resides in Luxembourg. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. Her master’s thesis at the University of Luxembourg tackled war and colonizing forms of architecture used in Artsakh. She is interested in architecture during and after the war in Artsakh and how architects should operate in this context, specifically understanding the consequences of war that directly impacts thousands of Armenian families, including her own.
