Melanie K. Yazzie

Melanie K. Yazzie (Diné) is the 2018-2019 Katrin H. Lamon Residential Scholar at the School for Advanced Research in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In August 2019, she will join the faculty at the University of New Mexico as an Assistant Professor of Native American Studies and American Studies. She is also the 2018-2019 Chair of the Central Governing Council for The Red Nation, a revolutionary organization committed to the liberation of Indigenous people from colonialism and capitalism. She was the guest co-editor of The Funambulist 20 (Nov-Dec. 2018) Settler Colonialism in Turtle Island with Nick Estes
