
Born and raised in Canada, Meena Chowdhury completed an undergraduate degree in architecture at the University of Toronto before earning a Master of Architecture at the University of British Columbia. She was a Designer in Residence at Emily Carr University for the summer of 2024, where she deepened her research into textile practices within the architectural sphere. She aims to challenge conventional disciplinary boundaries and create spaces that foster new dialogues between materiality, form, and cultural memory.
