Mariam Tamari

Alongside her international career as operatic soprano and composer, Palestinian-Japanese artist Mariam Tamari has published over 170 essays on Palestine, as well as short stories and poems. Her writing has been featured in the literary journal Subaru in her long-running monthly column “Daybreak in Palestine,” as well as in Noguchi – The Isamu Noguchi Exhibit at the Barbican Centre in London, and elsewhere.
