Mahmoud Keshavarz

Mahmoud Keshavarz works across anthropology and design and his teaching and research deals with how borders are shaped by the materials, images, designs, and technologies that have emerged through colonialism and continue to actively shape our political imagination about mobility. He is author of The Design Politics of the Passport (2018) and co-editor with Shahram Khosravi of Seeing Like a Smuggler (2022).
