Lily H. Chumley

Lily H. Chumley is an anthropologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Media, Culture, and Communication at NYU, a co-organizer of the Oikos Working Group on Kinship and Economy, and author of Creativity Class: Art School and Culture Work in Postsocialist China. She teaches courses on the semiotics of and cultures of money and payment systems.
