Director and visual artist Kordae Jatafa Henry lives and works in Los Angeles. Born as a Jamaican-British-American in the 1980s, Kordae grew up immersed in a remix of countercultures that continues to influence his work today. The ideas that infiltrate technology and culture are at the core of his practice, which he explores through music films. In parallel, Kordaeās afrofuturism and cyberpunk aesthetics stem from a multidisciplinary background of architecture and film. Kordae works collaboratively with the artist to experiment across multiple industries and develops world’s that break the boundaries of traditional filmmaking.
