Khalid Dader

Khalid is a literary translator and an academic researcher. Currently, he is a PhD fellow researcher at Tampere University, part of the project ‘Dwelling with Crisis: Home at Spaces of Chronic Violence’ (HOMCRI), interrogating homemaking and dwelling in Gaza amidst the Israeli ongoing genocidal attack(s), occupation, blockade, and multifaceted colonial violence. In his research, Dader further explores how Gazans continually create, reconstruct, and adapt their homes under conditions of war, engineered scarcities, and persistent insecurity.
