Kellem Monteiro is a visual artist based in Campos dos Goytacaes, Brazil. Using photography as her primary medium, Kellem brings visibility to the ordinary people in her neighborhood, transforming their image with colorful graphic composites, to question and subvert notions imposed by racial biases.
