Juli Salamanca

Juli Salamanca is the Executive Director of the Trans Health League. She is a social communicator and journalist, a human rights defender, and an activist for the rights of trans people. She is also a researcher and is currently doing an MA in Digital Humanities. She is passionate about defending the rights of sex workers, and she is an expert in communication for change and social justice. She is a co-author of the research project “The State Does Not Take Care of Me, My [Female] Friends Take Care of Me: Care Practices Created by Transgender People in the Absence of the State.”
