Giuseppe Procida is a Sicilian antimilitarist militant from Palermo and Niscemi. In his teens, he joined the NO MUOS movement and student protests against neoliberal education reforms. He later studied in France and traveled for many years across European border zones and refugee camps, including the occupied refuge ChezJésOulx. While working abroad, he pursued anthropology studies in Bologna, researching Mediterranean slavery and its ties to modern exploitation in Sicily. Now based in Sicily, he organizes with NO CPR networks and the NO MUOS struggle. He is completing a master’s in migration studies in Tunisia, focusing on borders, labor, and resistance.
