Flávio Zenun Almada (LBC Soldjah)

Flávio Zenun Almada known by his stage name “LBC Soldjah” is a mc/rapper that has a degree in Translation and Creative Writing from ECATI-ULHT and a Master’s in International Studies from ISCTE-UNL in Lisbon. While studying he became engaged in the struggle against social and racial inequalities by organizing people’s universities in peripheral areas of Lisbon (Portugal) and Praia (Cape Verde), addressing themes of pan-Africanism and socialism, housing, education, anti-racism, state violence, prison abolition, the thinking of leaders of African anticolonial liberation movements, and other issues. Currently, Flávio is general coordinator of Associação Cultural Moinho da Juventude at Cova da Moura.
