Deaglán Ó Mocháin

Deaglán Ó Mocháin is a filmmaker and Irish language activist based in Derry. He was an IRA prisoner between 1989–97, and completed a PhD on prison resistance strategies on his release. Deaglán’s prison file states that “he is extremely anti-authority and will go against the system at every opportunity,” a position he strives to maintain to this day.
