Chanelle Adams is an essayist, researcher, and translator. After studying Science and Technology Studies at Brown University, Chanelle was awarded a Fulbright for research on Madagascar plant medicine in the French colonial archives, which she conducted while completing a M.A. at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Science Sociales. Recently, she was an artist and writer in residency at the Visual Arts Network of South Africa (Johannesburg) and Danspace (New York). Chanelle gives workshops and talks on healing, archives, and meditation, and has shared her work with Black Quantum Futurism, New York University, and the Athens Goethe Institut. Currently, she is pursuing a doctoral degree in geography at the University of Lausanne.
