Bryan Finoki

Bryan Finoki is an independent writer and artist based in San Francisco. His written work over the past decade has appeared in Harvard Design Magazine, Design Observer, Domus, Volume, OpenDemocracy, GOOD, Triple Canopy, among other magazines, journals, and books. In addition to his collaborative projects with DEMILIT, he also experiments with notions of place, memory, and the sonic imagination in virtual audio environments under the name 52-Blue with Nick Sowers.
Demilit (@demilit) is Bryan Finoki, Nick Sowers, and Javier Arbona. It scours landscapes for quotidian connections between spaces, objects, individuals, and authority. Founded in 2010, initially to participate in the Just Metropolis Conference at UC Berkeley.
