Ayano Ginoza

Ayano Ginoza is an Associate Professor in the Research Institute for Islands and Sustainability at the University of the Ryukyus. Her work looks at cultures of militarism and feminist decolonial work in Okinawa. She currently focuses on issues of performativity and indigeneities of militarized islands cultures as articulated in Okinawan diasporic communities in California.
