Afreen Fatima

Afreen Fatima is a student leader and researcher from Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. She is currently associated with The Polis Project. She studied Linguistics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, where she served as an elected councilor in the students’ union in 2019–20. Formerly, she has also been the elected president of Women’s College Students’ Union in the Aligarh Muslim University 2018–19.  She co-founded Muslimah, a community group and study circle of young Muslim women in Allahabad.
