The main intuition formulated in this research consists in the idea that the violence of military organization of the city does not come from outside: the architecture of the city contains this very violence within itself. Its militarization is merely the process by which this violence reveals itself in an explicit manner. In other words, the militarized city is one where a violence common to all cities, appears in its most explicit manifestation.
