Les poétiques fuient l’impeccable perfection de leur propos même, se donnent au tremblement. Les anciens poèmes, les poèmes incertains d’alentour, l’inspiration des amis, le cri au loin. L’idée du monde n’est vivante que de s’autoriser des imaginaires du monde, où s’annonce que mon lieu inlassablement conjoint a d’autres, et en quoi sans bouger il s’aventure, et comment il m’emporte dans ce mouvement immobile.

The magnificent philosopher poet Edouard Glissant died this morning. Nobody used the French language in such a perfect association of the mean and the essence. Gilles Deleuze affirms that a philosopher has to be acknowledged for the concepts he created; the ones Glissant developed were the philosophical notions of RELATION, IMAGINARY, ARCHIPELAGO, CREOLIZATION (inherited from Aime Cezaire), TOUT-MONDE (All-World) and probably some others that I might not be familiar with. The imaginary of the world he was creating is extremely peaceful yet resists extremely firmly to the various manifestations of the reject of otherness.
I am sad today and so are the archipelagos of small countries he was celebrating so much.
