SABRIEN AMROV

Sabrien Amrov is pursuing her Ph.D. in Human Geography at the University of Toronto. Her work examines the place-making of Arab refugees in Little Syria of Istanbul post-Arab Spring. She is interested in studying how the Arab refugees in Little Syria create intimate solidarity connections in places that are both near (geographically and culturally) and far (by virtue of different political histories and identities) from their homes
