Mahy Mourad is a Cairo-based architect, independent researcher and multi-disciplinary designer. She teaches architecture design studios at several universities in Cairo. In 2014 she founded Studio 39, a multidisciplinary design and architecture research studio. Her research focuses on modern urban and architectural developments in Egypt, particularly those of the 19th and 20th century.
